Merlin 2.7.3 (free of charge update!)

Surely you are not surprised to read, that our developers are continually working on improving Merlin and its robustness. So a new Merlin version, 2.7.3,  is new available as a free update on our updates page.

Resolved Issues in Merlin

  • Merlin would hang on converting projects from some older formats.
  • An exception could occur when e-mails with attachments were dragged onto activities.
  • Merlin could crash when entering new assignments by Command + Option + A.
  • Even small file elements made the Merlin project file size grow immensely under Snow Leopard.
  • The numbers of predecessors or successors were not shown when a file was reopened.
  • The Gantt chart did flicker when a project was opened under Snow Leopard.
  • Copy formatted text did not work in the resources view.
  • When creating a project from a template, it showed sometimes wrong columns.
  • Flags were not visible in the project settings after a scrollbar would appear.
  • The info LDAP field was not used to determine if the LDAP item is a company or not.
  • A few translation issues are fixed.
  • The German and English help files are updated.

Resolved Issues in Merlin Server

  • The access rights were not set correctly if the projects path was not the standard path.
  • In some cases the login panel was shown, but unneeded.
