Meeting at Macworld

Hi folks,

As you probably realized, the Macworld Conference & Expo will again take place in January. Of course ProjectWizards this time will be there as well. You will find us in the South Hall at booth 2638.

I am writing to you, to start the discussion about another “The Mac Project Manager’s Get Together”. The last one in Atlanta, GA during the PMI Congress was very funny and we decided to do another one immediately!

So, the Macworld in San Francisco is a very good opportunity for the “TMPMGT #2”, isn’t it? What do you think about it? Discuss this at our Google Groop

Macworld Update

Back from the Macworld in San Francisco our team is exhausted but exhilarated. Before they went off to look after their jet lag, they did manage to give us a nice update and share a few photographs.

We thought we’d share a bit of the news and the pictures with you too. The visitors to our booth were generally very pleased with the new generation of Merlin – Merlin 2. Many of these were looking for a real professional project management tool and after checking out many of the other applications offered at the Macworld, they were convinced that Merlin 2 was unbeatable on the Mac OS X. That of course, pleased our developers.

Our team was able to interact one on one with many visitors and users to the booth. This offered a helpful platform to gather some very valuable feedback. Ideas, thoughts, feature requests were all compiled religiously by our team and these are now being discussed in great detail in out Merlin developer circle.

The Merlin users who took time to visit our booth also complimented the superb and competent support offered by the Merlin Support Team. Many mentioned that this is often not always the case. They were especially pleased with the super fast service and responses they got. In the future too our support will keep up the high quality of service.

All in all the Macworld was such a huge success that The Boss booked a booth for the Macworld 2008 right there.

Until then if you are looking for a project management software, download Merlin’s demo version here and give it a try yourself.

Revolutionary Products at the Macworld

Did you all see Steve Jobbs’ Keynote at the Macworld! Let me tell you some of our developers here in Germany were awake till the wee hours of the morning waiting for it. I admit, I waited till this morning to watch it.

As Steve presents the next revolutionary product to the world, the iPhone, our team reports from the ProjectWizards booth at the Macworld floor.

It seems they are getting run down by so many attendees at our booth that they seem to be forgetting to eat, drink and other such vital things!

Presenting Merlin 2 for the first time in the USA is a huge event for us. The attendees to the Macworld know that when looking for a professional project management application you cannot get better than Merlin 2.
For our team at the Macworld (and of course for all of us here too), this is a very pleasing trend. It confirms the fact that Merlin 2 is the next “revolutionary product” when it comes to professional project management applications on the Mac OS X. 😉

At the end of the first day and after presenting several demos, our team were able to call it a day. The live gig from “CheapTrick” was apparently the icing on the cake for them.

Please do not boo me out of here at my next question, but who is CheapTrick? 😉

Off to the Macworld

The Boss is off to the USA. After a short break at our office in Atlanta he’ll be flying on to San Francisco for the Macworld.

We love teasing him about the long flights to the US. Although he loves flying, crossing the Atlantic really rubs his edge a bit. Dry air, hardly any room to move, getting the right seat neighbor – a matter of luck and of course no smoking throughout the flight!

We’ll be exhibiting with our partner NovaMind this year again and everything is ready to show. Packages have been sent off, the booth is planned and appointments have been made. So, Frank can have a bit of a relaxing weekend in SF before the show begins.

We’ll keep you posted on Frank’s escapades in San Francisco and at the Macworld
