My Project Potion interview with AVTechnology.com Editor Kevin Hogan on emerging telepresence technology went live this week.  For those of you (like me) who are not hip to the new AV lingo, “emerging telepresence technology” can be interpreted as new video conferencing stuff. It was a rare thing for me to be able to interview Kevin, not just because he had a lot of insightful information and ideas about what changes we should expect in the way of AV tech impacting our ability to communicate with teams in other countries, but also because Kevin is one of my oldest and closest friends. There were a few signal dropouts in the recording, but whaddaya gonna do – it ‘s Skype. You can find the video here.

Steve Jobs, Apple CEO, really knows his profession. He really knows how to present* a piece of software or hardware and make you feel like you are watching the most successful blockbuster. He has an exact perception of how people love being part of something special. He understands how to create hardware which works but also manage to become cult. The amount of Apple users increase radically over the years. iPod was one of the products braking the clean cut between Mac and Windows Users. With the release of the iPod, almost everybody got to be an Apple user. Couple years ago you were nothing if you would jog without an iPod nano**.

WWDC: New iPhone, New MacBooks, Safari 4, and Snow Leopard

It’s become a tradition for Apple to announce new products at the WWDC Developer conference. True to form, Apple did not disappoint this year with the unveiling of the new iPhone 3G S, iPhone 3.0 Software Update, updated MacBooks, Safari 4, and the unveiling of  Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
